Will there be a way to watch the talks after the event?

All sessions will be recorded and made available to all GitKon attendees afterward. We will announce how to watch the sessions after they become available.

What time will GitKon start and stop each day?

Sessions for each day of GitKon 2021 will start at 9:00am PDT/UTC-7 and end at 5:00pm PDT/UTC-7.

How can I register for GitKon?

You can register for this Git conference free any time before the sessions begin on September 22.

What if I registered but never got a confirmation email?

If you have registered as an attendee through the Attendee Registration page but did not get a confirmation email, please check your Junk or Spam folders.
If it is not there, please reach out to us at gitkon@gitkraken.com for assistance and mention “missing registration email” in your subject line.

Where can I watch the sessions during the event?

We will provide viewing details to all registrants prior to the event. If you do not receive the email containing the viewing links before the start of GitKon on 9/22, please reach out to gitkon@gitkraken.com for assistance.

How much does GitKon cost?

This Git conference is 100% free.

We are bringing together a truly world-class speaker lineup for this tech conference to help us discover new use cases and collaborate better. The caliber of GitKon speakers and GitKon sessions would be more commonly seen at events with tickets costing hundreds of dollars. But we want this inaugural event to be accessible to everyone so we are not charging for GitKon 2021!

How do I join the GitKon Discord server?

Attendees will be emailed an invitation to join the GitKon Discord server just before the start of the event. If you have registered and not seen these updates before the event starts, please reach out to us at gitkon@gitkraken.com.

Can I invite my team to join me at this Git conference?

Yes! Feel free to invite all your colleagues and anyone else you think would benefit from learning more about Git.  We do ask that they all register for the developer conference individually to ensure the best overall experience.

What is GitKon all about?

The mission of GitKon is to bring Git users from all backgrounds and areas of focus together to learn from and inspire one another. Participants of this Git conference will attend sessions and interact with other Git enthusiasts to share ideas and new ways of utilizing the world’s most popular version control system.
