What is GitKon all about?

The mission of GitKon is to bring Git users focused on software development and team collaboration together to learn from and inspire one another.

Participants of this free, virtual conference will attend sessions and interact with other Git enthusiasts and DevOps professionals to share ideas and new ways of utilizing the world’s most popular version control system and how to work with teams in chaotic times.

Can I apply to speak at GitKon?

Sorry, the Call for Speakers closed on July 31, 2022.  

Will there be a way to watch the talks after GitKon 2022?

We will make all the recordings available as soon as possible after the conclusion of GitKon 2022. 

Where can I see the sessions from GitKon 2021?

Yes! In addition to the video of the session you can find an article with some of the session highlights and links, on the GitKraken website.

What time will GitKon start and stop each day?

GitKon 2022 will be held on October 11 – 13. Sessions for each day of GitKon 2022 will start at 9:00am PDT/UTC-7 and end at 12:00pm PDT/UTC-7.

Where can I watch the sessions during the event?

We will provide viewing details to all registrants prior to the event. If you do not receive the email containing the viewing links before the start of GitKon, please reach out to for assistance.

How much does GitKon cost?

This Git conference is 100% free.

We are bringing together a truly world-class speaker lineup for this tech conference to help us discover new use cases and collaborate better. The caliber of GitKon speakers and GitKon sessions would be more commonly seen at events with tickets costing hundreds of dollars. But we want this event to be accessible to everyone so we are not charging for GitKon 2022!

How do I join the GitKon Discord server?

Attendees will be emailed an invitation to join the GitKon Discord server a few days before the start of the event.
