How much does GitKon cost?

GitKon is 100% free. We are bringing together a truly world-class speaker lineup to help us all discover new use cases and collaborate better. The caliber of speakers and sessions would be more commonly seen at events with tickets costing hundreds of dollars. But we want this inaugural event to be accessible to everyone so we are not charging for tickets for GitKon 2021!

What is GitKon all about?

Our mission is to bring Git users from all backgrounds and areas of focus together to learn from and inspire one another. Participants will attend sessions and interact with other Git enthusiasts to share ideas and new ways of utilizing the world’s most popular version control system.

Can I apply to speak at GitKon?

You can apply to speak at GitKon on the Call for Speakers page.  Submissions are accepted until 11:50 pm PDT July 23, 2021.  

How can I register for GitKon?

You can register for GitKon for free on the Attendee Registration page

Can I invite my team to join me?

Yes! Feel free to invite all your colleagues and anyone else you think would benefit from learning more about Git.  We do ask that they all register for the event individually to ensure the best overall experience.

What time will the event start and stop each day?

Sessions for each day of GitKon 2021 will start at 9:00am PDT and end at 5:00pm PDT.

Will there be a way to watch the talks after the event?

All sessions will be recorded and made available to all attendees afterward. We will announce how to watch the sessions after they become available.

When will the schedule be available?

We will publish the final sessions schedule as soon as possible.
