Product Manager for npm
Edward Thomson is a product manager at GitHub. Prior to that, he has worked as a software engineer on several version control system products, including the Git tooling at Microsoft and GitHub. He is the maintainer of libgit2, the library for managing Git repositories.
Git is the dominant version control system and spawned an entire software ecosystem. This keynote will look back at Git’s humble beginnings and help you plan for future Git and ecosystem directions.
